How ordering with us works

A Taste Of Sweden, LLC is a home bakery in Hendersonville, Tennessee. These terms cover orders you place through this website. Placing an order means you agree to them.

Orders are placed through this website for pickup only. We do not ship and we do not deliver.

Everything is baked to order, so we ask for at least four days of notice. You choose a pickup day at least four days out, and a pickup time from the slots we have open.

Placing an order is a request. It becomes an order once we confirm it.

Prices are in US dollars and are listed on the menu.

A small online order fee applies to orders placed through this website. It is a flat fee for ordering online and it applies no matter how you end up paying, so it is not a card fee.

Tennessee sales tax is added.

The total shown to you before you submit your order is the amount you will be charged. Nothing gets added after that.

You do not pay when you place your order.

We email you a payment link about two days before your pickup day. Payment is due before pickup.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Pickup is in Hendersonville, TN, by scheduled appointment. Pickup is by scheduled appointment. We send the full address with your order confirmation.

Pickup times are available seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and you choose your time when you order. Every order is placed ahead and scheduled, so there is no walk-in counter.

Please come at the time you chose. If a pickup time needs to change, tell us ahead of the day and we will make arrangements.

To cancel an order, let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup.

If you need to change an order, ask as early as you can. We begin baking ahead of your pickup day, so a late change is not always possible.

Everything we sell is baked to order in a home kitchen.

That kitchen also handles wheat, nuts, dairy, eggs, and soy. Cross-contact is possible with any item we make, including items that do not list those ingredients.

Items described as gluten friendly are made without gluten-containing ingredients. They are not made in a certified facility, and they are not suitable for anyone with celiac disease or a severe gluten allergy. We say gluten friendly, and never anything stronger, because that is what we can honestly promise.

If you have a food allergy, please contact us before you order and we will tell you plainly whether we can bake for you.

We work to keep the menu and the prices right. If something you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will contact you before your pickup day and sort it out with you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it.
